I built Big Mood Studio because I wanted freedom — to walk my dog at 10am, say yes to spontaneous adventures, and do work that actually lights me up!! And somewhere along the way I realized helping small business owners show up boldly online was EXACTLY that work!!
I genuinely get embarrassingly excited about your business. Like actually!! The weird angle, the unexpected idea, the passion that made you say "screw it I'm doing this" — that's my favorite thing to work with!

The original plan was never to be a brand designer!! I spent years as an elementary school teacher — building creative lessons around what my students actually needed — until the district handed me a script and took away the freedom that made me good at what I did!! Walking away wasn't easy. But staying would have meant losing my spark!!
What started as social media management quickly revealed a bigger problem. The small businesses I was working with didn't have branding — and without it nothing else could work!! Six months in Mexico, a business built from scratch, and somewhere along the way I realized that the same instinct that made me a great teacher was exactly what made me great at this!!That reframed everything!!
I grew up in a town of 500 people most famous for a swamp monster!! Being from a small town never meant having small dreams — and now I'm building a table of my own!!
